Penny-Arcade sneak peek

This is a close-up of a recent piece I finished for the folks down at Penny Arcade. (Jules! Long time no draw.)It's been so long since I fully committed to a cg piece, it felt good, yet exhausting. I worked on it non-stop since monday afternoon. Thankfully I was able to have it done by the deadline which was yesterday march 31. I reaaaally like the final result, but I'm not allowed to show it to you yet.

And that is the original size, yes.

This is lovely. I don't know how to make digital work look like that–like an oil wash.

EASY! Use OpenCanvas. I know there is a free version in the internet somewhere (1.0) I use version 3, though, but it's basically the same thing. It's wonderful for blending. After you paint, you put a layer of paper texture on top of it and voilá! Oil wash effect. Oh yeah.

Hahaha, anyway, thank you for the comment. It's an honor coming from you :B
