I use pen and bamboo brushes. But the real trick into getting those "pretty strokes" is using the dry brush method. You only use the ink, no water. (Maybe you already knew that method but just in case.)
You should try it. I'm sure you'll come up with something 12234245 times better than this.
haha, yeah i've had my fun with ink too..thjink i just never posted anything. BUT, that was important feedback cause I was curious! I need to get my hands on decent bamboo brushes though cause i believe mine have become something close to a scarecrow...whatever that means!
and no way, lucky me if i render it as well as you do! :]
